Last week, Vinny Masters, True Fit’s RVP in the UK, was invited to speak at #FASHHACK’s “The Future of Fashion and Retail” event at River Island, on the topic of Artificial Intelligence. The event, which brought together leading AI innovators in fashion and retail, sparked discussions with a huge crowd about the role AI applications play in automation and augmentation of the retail process.
One of the discussions centered around the question “How can AI show me why someone returns an item?” AI can certainly help not only identify why, but predict consumer behavior around returns. Behaviors such as size sampling, style sampling and color sampling can all be identified and reversed by collecting and analyzing quality data. (You can read more about how here.)
But there’s another answer. Before even getting to this point in the customer journey, AI can be used to enable consumer confidence.
