How to save your initial profile

  1. Once you register and create a True Fit profile either at our website or as you are shopping with a True Fit retail partner, you will be prompted to save your profile.

  2. To save your True Fit profile, enter your email address and a password. There is also an option to save your credentials with Facebook or Google.

  3. Shop with fit advice confidently across hundreds of sites. Just look for the T!

How to sign into your saved profile

  1. Click the Got True Fit? Sign In button at the top of the pop out once you click on the T at our site or at a True Fit retail partner site.

  2. You will be prompted to sign into your True Fit profile with email and password or using Facebook or Google.

How to update your profile and virtual closet

  1. Sign into your True Fit profile via the Got True Fit? Sign In button at the top of the pop up screen once you click on the T at our site or at a True Fit retail partner site. 

  2. Toggle over from the Fit tab to the Profile tab at the top of the pop up screen.

  3. Scroll to the category where you wish to add closet items and the sizes you wear. For the best recommendations as you shop, we recommend entering three different closet items for each category.

  4. If you wish to update any other basic information like height, weight and age, scroll down to the bottom of the profile page to make adjustments.

How to reset your password

  1. Click the Got True Fit? Sign In button at the top of the pop out once you click on the T at our site or at a True Fit retail partner site.

What is True Fit?

True Fit is an online shopping companion that helps you find the right size in clothing and footwear. When you can’t try it on, True Fit gives you that ‘add to cart confidence’ by providing personalized fit recommendations based on what you already wear and love! 90 million shoppers love using True Fit to shop online. Save your profile like they did to get seamless fit recommendations at your favorite retailers and brands. You can sign in with an email and password or with your social accounts.

I have never used True Fit before - how do I create a profile?

Great news! You can now sign up or sign in to True Fit from our website. We ask you a few details about you and what you like to wear and depending on the category you are shopping in, we may ask for additional details like bra size, neck measurement or inseam. Create or manage your profile here.  

We’ve partnered with the brands that you love so you can skip the fitting room and shop online seamlessly. You can also look for the TrueFit_logo_100x100  at our partner retailers to sign up or sign in to your fit profile. Locate True Fit on the product page next to the size selection

How does True Fit make a size recommendation for me?

True Fit connects apparel and footwear details with your personal shopping preferences so you can be confident you will buy the right size as you shop online. Answer a few questions about you and what you wear and save your profile to get automatic fit advice as you shop across brands and categories.

 

My favorite brand is not available in True Fit’s virtual closet. What should I do?

True Fit gives you two options during registration. You can type a brand into the search box or you can select a brand that is listed and suggested. If your favorite fitting brand is not listed or searchable, please tell us by submitting a request to add your favorite brand to our database. Although we have more than 3,000 brands in the True Fit closet, we love to discover new brands!

 

I have gained or lost weight. How do I update my True Fit profile?

You can log into your True Fit profile directly from True Fit’s website. Click the ‘Create a Profile’ button and select the icon at the top of the registration page to sign into your existing profile.

Once you sign in, you can add your favorite brands and the sizes you wear for tops, bottoms, dresses and shoes to your profile. It is important to remove any brands and sizes that you no longer wear to get the best recommendations. Scroll to the bottom of your profile to update your body details and age.

What should I do if I was recommended a size that I do not think is correct?

True Fit is a machine learning service that gets smarter as you shop. We serve millions of recommendations to shoppers every day and we don’t get it right 100% of the time. If you think your recommendation is incorrect, check your True Fit profile to ensure it is up to date. Refer to question 3 to update and optimize your profile. If your profile is up to date, connect with our customer service team. We want to hear from you!

 

What if I purchased an item with True Fit and it didn’t fit me?

True Fit gets smarter as you shop! Our algorithms and your recommendations improve as you shop across brands and retailers. Return the item through the retailer where you purchased it and check your profile to ensure it is up to date. Adding more brands and sizes you wear in those brands also helps us tailor future fit recommendations to your preferences.

 

Why am I not seeing a size recommendation for every product while I’m shopping online at a True Fit retailer?

True Fit recommends sizes to shoppers on clothing and shoes. We do not make size recommendations on accessories and jewelry. If you are not seeing a size recommendation on clothing or shoes at one or more of our retail partners, the product might be new to True Fit in which case we are still learning about how it fits. If you do not see True Fit at all as you are shopping, contact our customer service team. We want to hear from you!

 

Can I use True Fit to shop for someone else?

Yes! You can shop for friends and family and give them the gift of a great fit! 

To create a additional profiles, click switch profile once you sign into your account on our website.

 

Add details about the person you are shopping for to create their True Fit profile. This profile will be attached to your True Fit profile. As you shop, you can toggle between your own profile and the person you are shopping for. You can save multiple profiles to your True Fit profile and name each profile.

Can I create a True Fit profile for my child?

Get your kids, nieces, nephews, grandkids and friends into their best fitting size faster and easier than ever before! True Fit makes size recommendations for children age 2 and older on many of our retail partner sites. 

To create a child profile on our web site, click switch profile once you sign into your account.

 

Add that child’s details to create their profile. This profile will be attached to your True Fit profile. As you shop, True Fit will switch the profile based on the department you are browsing in. You can save multiple children's profiles to your True Fit profile and name each profile.

 

How do I turn off True Fit?

When you are signed in and on a product page at a True Fit retailer, look for your True Fit recommendation near the size selection. 

Click on the recommendation to launch the True Fit experience. On the top of the open window, click the Head icon.

On the next screen, click Sign out of True Fit and you will no longer see True Fit recommendations.
