Calling All Merchants - Meet the fashion industry's most confident shoppers.

They buy 2–4X more, return up to 40% less, and they all have one thing in common: True Fit.

This playful, over-the-top depiction of supermodel-style True Fit shoppers captures the power of True
Fit’s 80 million active users—the most profitable shoppers in fashion e-commerce. With True Fit’s
size and fit guidance, they shop with confidence and convert at higher rates.

Here’s the secret:
• Size uncertainty is the #1 reason shoppers hesitate and the #1 reason for returns.
• True Fit eliminates the guesswork by telling every shopper exactly what size to buy.

For retailers and brands, that means:
How True Fit Works

It’s hard to know what items will fit correctly when buying online.

Each brand scales its sizes differently.

It’s difficult to translate a single size across brands.

Size Charts at the brand level, not item level.

Reviews are subjective.

Unsure fit is the #1 reason for purchase hesitancy, and
the #1 reason for returns.

[ Forward-thinking retailers are using data to solve size and fit. ]

True Fit solves for fit by making sense of billions of products, orders, and shopper data points.

Data powers accurate fit recommendations.

How products fit
True Fit normalizes product data (product catalog, size charts, product descriptions) to assign a proprietary universal size.

This universal size allows True Fit to understand how different brands and styles relate to each other. Does a small in Brand A equate to a medium in Brand B?
What shopper prefer
Over 400 million shoppers have told True Fit about their best fitting brands and styles, which helps inform the universal size relationships and preference patterns.

Technical fit is one thing, but an accurate fit recommendation must take into account how shoppers prefer to wear their clothes - baggy, tight, etc.
How shoppers behave
True Fit’s data includes billions in sales and returns data from thousands of global retailers.

Sales data + profile data informs our algorithms of how shoppers are actually buying and engaging with different brands and sizes and refines recommendations accordingly.

Fit Needs

Shoppers refine their recommendations based on fit needs for their unique bodies.

Most people have “that” part of their body, the area that tends to cause the biggest struggle in finding clothing that not only fits them but makes them feel confident.

Fit Needs provides shoppers the opportunity to refine their recommendations further by telling us more about their fit preferences.

When shoppers are happy, retailers are, too. Shoppers that input at least one Fit Need show a 3% increase in repeat order rate.

Size Sampling

Size sampling, also known as size bracketing, is when customers buy multiple sizes of the same item with the intention of returning most. Get shoppers in their best fitting size. Reduce instances of buying multiple sizes in the same style.

When shoppers are unsure how something fits, they often purchase a couple of sizes, intending to return some or all. This practice creates a hassle for the shopper, eats into retailer margins, and gets an ‘F’ in sustainability.

True Fit’s size sampling widget helps get shoppers into their single best-fitting size via prompts on the product page or in the cart. Shoppers who have already filled out the True Fit survey will be shown their best fitting size, and shoppers new to True Fit will be prompted to take the survey for their best fit.
